The online screener is a preliminary test to get an idea of your hearing levels.
It is not intended to replace the full hearing assessment, as the full hearing test will incorporate a thorough investigation to determine if the hearing is affected by other issues such as ear wax, eustachian tube dysfunction and many other factors.
It is important to monitor your hearing from around about the age of 40 and we recommend that you should check your hearing every other year if your hearing is normal and every year if you experience hearing difficulties.
The screen only takes a few minutes and gives you an idea of whether you need to book for further testing and investigation.
Understanding the health of your hearing is very important, as if you don’t continuously monitor it, it could lead to hearing issues which can cause you a severe amount of pain.
Some people might be able to come to our clinic for a hearing test but others may not be able to, so, to make our tests available for everyone we have an online hearing test for all to use.
